The Department of History is pleased to share the news that Professor Sean Mills has won the 2017 Prix de la présidence de l’Assemblée nationale for his book A Place in the Sun: Haiti, Haitians, and the Remaking of Quebec (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2016). This prize, awarded by the Quebec provincial government, recognizes the quality and originality of research of a book published on Quebec politics.
