Description
CDHI is pleased to welcome Dr. Connie Crompton as the second guest in our 2022-23 Visiting Scholar Series. Dr. Crompton is a Canada Research Chair in Digital Humanities and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Ottawa. She is the Vice-President (English) of the Canadian Society for Digital Humanities, Director of the Humanities Data Lab, and an associate director of the Digital Humanities Summer Institute (University of Victoria).
Dr. Crompton’s talk is titled “Sex and Gender in TEI and RDF: Evolving Encoding Standards for the Lesbian and Gay Liberation in Canada Project.”
