Description
My dissertation seeks to interweave the history of three emblematic natural parks of South America with the social histories of the populations and communities that precede and coexist in parallel with these extraordinary infrastructures of life and death.
Biography
I was trained and guided as a historian at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota by a group of extraordinary women historians from whom I learned that the commitment to the past is also a political responsibility to our present, to imagine a different future. We must continue collectively imagining other ways of doing, practicing, and sharing history.
