Biography

My project, "Electric Eyes: Photography, Migration, and the Transformation of Vision in the United States, 1950s-1990s," explores the intertwined histories of photography, vision, and Latin American migration.

At the University of Toronto, I have served as an instructor for the following courses: HIS 494 H5: Advanced Topics in the History of the Americas: Visual Culture in 20th-Century Latin America, HIS 390 H5: Revolutions and Nations in Latin America, and HIS B30 H3: The History of the United States to the Civil War.
