Biography
Yvon Wang is currently working on a book project about pornography as the intersection of sexuality, print, law enforcement, and cultural authority in early modern and 20th-century urban China. Other interests include the history of everyday consumer goods, popular culture, and comparative/global history. They have published articles on pornography, sodomy, and "hooligans" in Modern China, The Journal of Asian Studies, and Nan nü.
