Biography :
Aino Pihlak is a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto, and a social historian of trans femininity. In addition to her work on histories of trans feminine erotica, she is a scholar of twentieth-century, Anglophone trans feminine subcultures. Her work can be found in the Journal of the History of Sexuality, Gender & History, Xtra, and Sexualities.
