Professor Elspeth Brown, an expert in queer history, will reveal three moments in the history of Toronto’s LGBTQ activism. She will explore the 1970s through the 1990s in the activists’ own words, as captured in audio and visual oral histories from the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives.
