Canada and the Challenge of Genocide in Asia: A Roundtable Discussion

To mark the publication of Professor David Webster's newest book, Challenge the Strong Wind: Canada and East Timor, 1975-99, the Bill Graham Centre is hosting a roundtable discussion on Canada's response to genocide in Asia over the past half century, featuring: David Webster (Bishop's) on Canada and East Timor; Laura Madokoro (Carleton) on Canada's response to the Cambodian genocide in the 1970s; and the Hon. Bob Rae on the current Rohingya crisis in Myanmar. Professor Rosemary McCarney of Trinity College will chair this roundtable discussion.
