Biography

Camila Collins Araiza is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of History, in collaboration with the Centre for Jewish Studies, at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include the early modern Caribbean and Atlantic World, with specific focus on histories of slavery, Jews, society and law. Before beginning her doctoral studies, Camila held the position of Research Assistant for the Montgomery Collection of Caribbean Photographs at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
