Film Memories of the Great War

This lecture is part of a series of film screenings devoted to the First World War. The lecture will deal with the visions of the Great War as seen by three different directors. Analysis of the films and reflection on their historical context will allow the audience to understand how the idea of the Great War, and how it has been perceived, has changed over time.
