Professor Ron Pruessen Speaks about the Legacy of US President Barack Obama

January 19, 2017 by Department of History Staff

Ron Pruessen, a professor in the Department of History, is in the midst of writing a book about President Obama. He also teaches a first-year undergraduate seminar course on President Obama’s years in the White House (SII 199H: Barack Obama as History- Barack Obama in History). Needless to say, Professor Pruessen knows a lot about the achievements and struggles of President Obama.

In the final days of President Obama’s time in office, Professor Pruessen took the time to reflect on Obama’s legacy with an op-ed in Newsweek, an interview with U of T News and an interview with the CBC's Power & Politics.
