Field: British empire, 20th century I.R.

Professor MacMillan’s research interests include the British Empire in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and international relations of the twentieth century. Her most recent book is The Uses and Abuses of History (2008).  Other books include Women of the Raj; Paris 1919: Six Months that Changed the World (2002); Nixon in China: The Week that Changed the World (2006); and three edited volumes, Canada and NATO: Uneasy Past, Uncertain Future, The Uneasy Century: International Relations 1900-1990 and Parties Long Estranged: Canada and Australia in the Twentieth Century.
