History Symposium 2017 "Canada: A Coming of Age"

This symposium will focus on various aspects of the First World War and Vimy Ridge and will be held in London, Ontario on Saturday, February 25, 2017.  

We have a full day of speakers including our Keynote Speaker, Mr. Ted Barris, an award-winning journalist, author, and broadcaster. He has published 18 books, including several on the history of Canadians in the World Wars and Korea.

Our committee is made up entirely of volunteers who are historical re-enactors portraying both The War of 1812 and the First World War. The History Symposium is promoting this event through the University of Toronto's Department of History website, to its history students, grads and faculty.
